Jenner and Duggar

It’s official.  Washington, the state, recently legalized gay marriage and marijuana, all in conjunction with what is proclaimed in the bible.  It makes perfectly good sense to me. Check it out.  Leviticus 20:13 says,”If a man lies with another man, they should be stoned.”

Back in 1976 Bruce Jenner, by winning the Olympic Decathlon and breaking the world record in that multi-event, was known as the greatest athlete on the planet.  I was impressed, the country was impressed and the world was impressed.  What is a Decathlon?  It is the ten grueling track and field events that take place over a two day period that most world class athletes will enter only one or two and at the most, three at one time.  That was almost forty years ago, which is a lifetime to some.  Today, Bruce Jenner pulls a switcheroo.  Bruce/Caitlin looks great in the recently released photos on the internet, especially at his/her age of 65.  But initial reports state that Bruce/Caitlin did not go ‘all the way with the knife’ and held onto certain critical parts.  That’s a pun.  Is it his/her wish to able to work both sides of the street?  Or is it his/her wish to be a hybrid and to get the maximum mileage regardless of which engine is turned on?

The latest hullabaloo on the idiot box is the Duggar incident.  Was it wrong what the kid did?  Of course it was wrong.  Should the kid be raked over the coals and crucified some twelve years after the fact, especially when he came clean at the time and reported the dastardly deed to the local police himself?  I don’t think so.  Look at the facts.  There was no penetration and the ‘touching’ took place while the victims were fully clothed.  Should child abusers be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law?  Absolutely.  For those of you who don’t know, I was with the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department for twenty three years, most of the time as a Reserve Detective with Child Abuse.  When something of value is taken from you like your car, jewelry or some other possession, with the exception of a homicide, you can always get another one to replace it (boy friends or girl friends may take a little longer to replace).  The only thing that kids have that is of any value is their innocence.  Once that is taken from them they can never get it back.  Yet this entire incident is being whipped into a media frenzy by, guess who, the media.  One of the victims, the perpetrators sister, who by the way has no recollection of the event, stated on national TV that what the media is doing now is one thousand times worse than what actually happened.  So let me ask you, how many of you out there, when you were youngsters, played ‘doctor’ with members of the opposite sex?

I wish that I wrote this but I didn’t.  It was written by Joe Arpio, Sheriff of Maricopa County, AZ. “A liberal paradise would be a place where everybody has guaranteed employment, free comprehensive medical care, free education, free food, free housing, free clothing, free utilities and the only ones to have guns would be law enforcement.  And believe it or not, such a place does indeed exist.  It’s called Prison.” What does this have to do with anything?  I have no idea.
