LIES
I’m sure that even George Washington told a few whoppers in his lifetime. The truth of the matter is that all politicians lie, Republicans and Democrats. It’s in their DNA. But there is a major difference between the two. When a Republican politician lies, even though his or her constituents know that a lie has been told, they respond by a shrug of the shoulders with a “who cares” attitude, joke about it at dinner time or raise their fists in complaint before getting back to business. Should a Democratic politician ever tell a lie, his or her constituents will go into complete denial and would lambaste anyone who had the temerity to even suggest that their champion told a falsehood. And now the Democrats are blaming Trump for the unilateral firing of FBI Deputy Director McCabe where if they checked the facts they would learn that the recommendation to fire McCabe came from the FBI itself.

You can finish the quote. It was over a thousand years ago that we had the “Children’s Crusade”, which did not end well for most of the participants. Now we have teenagers walking out of class in protest of the current gun laws or in accordance with their perception, the absence of gun laws. When I was a teenager we would “strike” and skip class for any and I do mean ANY excuse whatsoever. If these overly conscientious teenagers are going to protest the nation’s gun laws, it seems to me that they should first direct their indignation towards their brethren who insist on texting and or drinking while driving which has been the cause of infinitely more fatalities than guns ever have. What would they think about the banning of iPhones and automobiles for anyone under 21?
ENOUGH ALREADY
It’s high time for Special Counsel Robert Mueller to stop protecting our President and inform the American public as to how he pulled off his collusion with the Russians. He’s been at it for some fourteen months so he must have learned something by now as to how it was done. I want to know.
VOICE OF AMERICA
When it comes to meddling in the affairs of other countries the US of A is certainly no angel. I don’t know how many of you are old enough to remember the “Voice of America”. They were big during the fifties. That was our governmental radio station that broadcast the “message of freedom” all over the world to anyone who would listen. Why? To convince those poor slobs on the other side of the “iron curtain” or wherever, that our country was a “land of milk and honey” and that they lived under a totalitarian regime and should revolt.
The VOA was established in 1942, most likely to reach those people ruled by Nazi Germany and the Empire of Japan and is still in full operation today. In 2016 the VOA, with its 1,050 employees and an annual budget of 218.5 million reached 236.6 million people with over 40 languages during its broadcasting of 1,800 hours of TV and radio per week. Because of this media blitz, the Justice Ministry of Russia has labeled Radio Free Europe and the Voice of America as foreign agents.
Sounds familiar? It’s different when we do it. Right?
WHO CARES
It wasn’t that many years ago that we had Monica Lewinsky who I understand is now being considered as “cover girl” for the Girl Scouts of America. Just kidding. And now we have Stormy Daniels. Who gives a shit? If she deserves anything other than the notoriety she’s generating, it’s a one way ticket to bimbo land. The rest of the world, especially France, is laughing their heads off at our preoccupation with such nonsense. Take the great Franklin Delano Roosevelt. FDR was a gimp and a cripple yet he too knew the value of a good hump. And what about John Fitzgerald Kennedy? JFK, who took after his father, was most likely and probably the biggest whore master of them all, who confided to Nikita Kruschchev that if he didn’t get laid every day he would end up with a migraine. And let’s not forget about his kid brothers.
