August 26 – Tony Lo Bianco

Our special guest for today is Tony Lo Bianco.  I always thought that his career started out with “The French Connection”, back in 1971.  But when I looked him up I saw that he had about a dozen credits before that.  In fact, if you look up his IMDb listings, he has credits up the wazoo.  And now he’s touring the country with his one man show about the inimitable Fiorello La Guardia, the very popular Republican mayor of the ‘big apple’ for three terms from 1934 to 1945.  Yes, they named an airport after him, La Guardia, not Lo Bianco.
