April 29 – Odette Warder & Lou Zigman

Odette Warder

Perseverance is what makes people and this is especially so in the case of Odette Warder, an actress, model and film production crew member born in South Africa now residing in NYC. Between the ages of 16 and 22 she was put to the test. An auto accident that left her comatose required 18 months of rehab and if that wasn’t enough she lost her voice for a period of 6 months.Following her full recovery she has gone on to compile an impressive list of credits in TV, film and modeling.

Lou Zigman
A lawyer for all seasons. As part of his busy curriculum he lectures to labor unions as well as to his friends and relatives. And if that’s not enough, he’s also a judge. No, not like Judge Judy. You’ve heard of hanging judges? Well, he’s a traveling judge, and he has a big gavel, that he uses when arbitrating arguments between management and labor. Like King Solomon before him, he will many times cut the baby in half – or at least threaten to do so. In his spare time he produces shows for the NY Friars Club. For 25 years he and his wife Fran produced the annual NY Alumni Association Show at the Beverly Hills High School for the Alumni members, graduates of the NY City High Schools and their guests that reside on the west coast where each year they would honor a celebrity in the entertainment field who came from NY and would adopt another celebrity that didn’t come from NY. I saw almost all of their shows and I must tell you that they were the best NY style shows, out of NY, that you could ever see.
