You’ve all heard of Joe Franklin, the man who invented, first on TV and then on radio, the talk show format back in 1951. An author of 23 books who has interviewed thousands of celebrities and would be celebrities on “Memory Lane” will share with us some of his experiences over almost seven decades of his doing radio interviews. He even interviewed me some ten years ago when we discussed the only novel ever written about the black pilots of WWII. In fact it has been said that he interviewed Moses while he was parting the Red Sea and was directing traffic at the same time.
